Description
This workshop will provide educators with information on how to best assess students' mathematical knowledge and skills in the mathematics classroom. Information about the use of formative and summative assessment in mathematics will be provided, as well as best practices for feedback for improved student learning. The foundation for assessment and achievement will be Carol Dweck's work on growth mindset.
When all requirements are met for completion of this workshop, participants will receive 20 professional development hours.
